India is one of the most divided societies in terms of gender-disparities. The sex-ratio in some of the states is extremely skewed and the same translates into the STEM fields. Well, these are genuine concerns if we look how unsafe it is for girls to step out due to rising cases of atrocities that are committed against them due to the patriarchal, sexist mindsets. Now that it is not required for the child, especially a girl child, to step out to get even a basic education, it becomes possible to include her under the umbrella of education.
