    How to Write SEO-friendly Blog Posts?

    Optimizing blog posts can be sturdy if you don’t know the rules or tricks to do so. If you know what you’re doing, you can create fantastic SEO optimized content and bring in organic traffic.

    You might already know what back links, guest blogging, blogger outreach, and so on are. If not, you need to see these SEO techniques to generate content. Here, we’re going to tell you how you can make SEO-friendly blogs. These could have things you already know. But it will help you strategize all of them one by one.

    Steps to optimize blog posts

    Check out the steps you need to follow while writing articles and blogs to make them tuned:

    1.    Write naturally

    Gone are those days when people used to write only to stuff keywords and make their content rank. Google needs you to write typically and authentically unique. When you write without thinking about keywords, you make the best possible content. It seems like you’re talking to your readers and not deliberately wanting them to read a word repetitively.

    You need to know your target keywords, LSI keywords, and keep them in front of you. Every time you write something relative, you’d have an idea to place them naturally. If it does fit in that way, you must do that. If it doesn’t, you should refrain from stuffing them.

    1.    Title tags

    When you make a long post, you need to break down your content into subcategories. It is not only one of the important guidelines but also makes it more readable for the readers. To breakdown your content, you need to use title tags like:

    •    <h1> … </h1> – Heading 1
    •    <h2> … </h2> – Heading 2
    •    <h3> … </h3> – Heading 3

    The Heading 1 stands for the title of your post or your topic name. H1 is of primary importance, and you should try to include the main keyword in it. H2 is the first subhead you add, and then H3 is subcategory you add under that. These can go up to H6, and you can use these tags to create a proper format for your article.

    1.    Add LSI keywords

    If you’re new to blogging, you might be unaware of the lingo. You can ask for expert help from Yeah! Local to improve your SEO game or gradually learn these to incorporate them yourself.

    LSI keyword stands for Latent Semantic Indexing keywords or related words. Using them help in Google’s algorithm and makes your article more keyword-rich. These allow you to add more relevant words rather than repeating one word many times. You can use as many you like until it doesn’t mess up the natural flow of your content.

    1.    Meta Description

    A Meta description is a snippet that you need to write to make your content more search engine friendly. It is imperative and must also include the main keyword once. Since you’re looking to optimize your content, you can’t avoid the Meta description. Be creative and make sure you fit it within 150 characters or less.

    1.    Images

    If you write a piece of content for 1,000 words or more, but you don’t add a single image to it, the blog post will look pale. It will bore your readers, and they will not want to know what you wrote or why.

    Images not only keep readers hooked to the words but also improve the SEO score of your article. When you upload a picture to your post, you need to name it and then upload.

    For example, if you’re writing a blog on cats, you can caption an image as ‘German Cat’ rather than ‘germancat1.jpg’. This adds another keyword to your blog. Next, you need to add ALT tags so that your images come over at search engine bots. This also makes people navigate to your blog, even if they were trying to look at the picture.

    1.    Internal links

    When you write a piece, you need to add at least one or two loops of your existing articles. It not only improves the SEO score of your blogs but also helps crawlers gradually find your site. You need to add internal links to draw in traffic from one blog to another.

    Make sure you don’t add any random link or where it is not necessary. If you write a piece on what breed of cat to adopt, you can link it to a blog that talks about their veterinary needs.

    1.    Outgoing links

    If you write articles that are more than 2000 words long, you need to add points. If you’ve done research and came up with such points on your own, that’s great. But if you’ve taken ideas from another blog, then you must mention the source of that post. This step will do a lot of help than you think will.

    Your readers not only start liking your articles (as they can move to the main link and know more about it) but the bloggers will also appreciate that they’re getting traffic because of you. You can share your posts on social media and mention their name. Don’t hesitate from following links to resource sites if they are of high quality and give you all the information you need.

    Conclusion

    The best way to make a blog post viral is to make the content engaging. When you write a piece from your heart, every sentence becomes relatable. If you can engage your reader, you’re halfway there. After that, they might or might not buy your products or hire your services, but they will make you grow.

    Google expects us to be read through the content we post online. If we share content according to their guidelines, we will be on the safer side. Make sure you know all the rules and prevent any possible penalties.  If you do so, you will not have to stuff in keywords and produce content that adds value to the internet, to the readers, and you.
