Being able to save videos to watch later is useful, and not just because you can watch it
offline and don’t have to re-stream it. If you can save videos you will be able to save any live content or temporary content that isn’t available after it has aired.
Of course most platforms don’t really have an option to ‘save’ videos to watch later, which
is why you have to look to Movavi Screen Capture Studio for Mac instead. Because it is a
screen capture software for Mac it will let you record anything that is on your screen, so you will need to set it up to record the video that you want to save.
The good news is that setting up Movavi Screen Capture Studio for Mac to record a video is
easy. All you need to do is launch it and select ‘Record screen’ to open up the screen
recorder. When you do you can then immediately use your mouse cursor to draw a frame
over the video that you want to record, and the interface will appear afterwards.
On the interface you’ll see a ‘System Audio’ icon that should be highlighted. Click on it once
if it isn’t, and make sure the ‘Microphone’ icon beside it isn’t highlighted as well. If you want you can adjust the other recording parameters in Movavi Screen Capture Studio for Mac as well, but it isn’t necessary to do so.
To start recording press ‘REC’ and play the video that you want to save at the same time.
Once the video is finished, click ‘Stop’ and Movavi Screen Capture Studio for Mac will save it automatically and open up a preview window where you can go over the recording, opt to
save it in a different format, or open it in the editor.
In some cases it might be helpful to take advantage of the features in Movavi Screen
Capture Studio for Mac’s built-in editor. It will let you trim out any unwanted part, merge
clips together, enhance the video quality, add captions, include audio tracks, and more. If
you want you could even apply filters and special effects to your video, but if you just want
to save it that isn’t really that important.
As you can see Movavi Screen Capture Studio for Mac makes saving any videos to watch
later a piece of cake. If you try it out for yourself you’ll be able to see firsthand how easy it
is, and the next time you need to set it up to record and save a video you’ll be able to get it done in no time.
